For the tomato ketchup recipe, click here    • Tomato Ketchup Recipe | Homemade Ketc...   Aloo Tikki Burger Recipe: Potato (boiled whole) - 2 nos Green Peas (frozen) - ½ Cup Butter - 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp Cumin Powder - ½ tsp Coriander Powder - ½ tsp Chaat Masala - ½ tsp Amchur Powder - ¼ tsp Salt - ½ tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tsp Lemon Juice - 2 tsp Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Flattened Rice (Aval/Poha) - ½ Cup Coating: Maida - ½ Cup Cornstarch - ¼ Cup Salt - ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp Water - ½ Cup Breadcrumbs - 1 Cup Burger Sauce: Mayonnaise - ¼ Cup Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce - 1 tbsp Other Ingredients: Oil (for deep-frying) - As Needed Burger Buns Butter Onion (thinly sliced) Tomato (thinly sliced) Cheese Slice (optional) Cooking Instructions: 1. Peel and grate the whole-boiled potatoes. 2. In a pan, heat butter and add the green peas along with the masala powders. Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute on a low flame. Add the grated potatoes and mix well. Use a potato masher if required to smoothen the mixture. 3. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and turn off the flame. Allow the mixture to cool. 4. Wash the poha with water and strain it. Add this to the mixture to absorb the excess moisture. 5. Make equal-sized portions of the mixture. Flatten them into patties. 6. Whisk together the maida, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and water to form a thick batter. 7. Coat the patties with breadcrumbs, then the batter, and again in the breadcrumbs. Fry the patties in oil until golden brown. 8. To make the sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, and chilli sauce together. 9. Apply butter on the burger buns and toast them. 10. Assemble the burger by placing a patty, cheese slice, onion slices, tomatoes, and the sauce on top. Cooking Tips: 1. Boil the potatoes until they can be easily pierced with a fork. 2. If you are using fresh green peas, boil them just until they have softened a little. The time would vary on the quality of the green peas.
