Malayer City (Hamadan Province), The First Walking Tour from Malayer Grand Bazaar, Iran. شهر زیبای ملایر در استان همدان The first virtual tour of malayer city and grand bazaar of Malayer. Malayer (Persian: ملایر‎, romanized: Malāyer), formerly Dowlatabad (Persian: دولت‌آباد‎, romanized: Doulatābād, also Romanized as Dowlatābād and Daūlatābād), is a city and capital of Malayer County, Hamadan Province, Iran. The second largest city of the province, Malayer has a reputation for rug weaving and has some popular parks. Malayer Bazaar is one of the attractions of Malayer city and was registered in 1976 in the list of national and historical monuments of Iran. The primary core of Malayer Bazaar dates back to the time of Sheikh Ali Mirza Sheikh Al-Muluk and Mohammad Ali Mirza Dolatshah, sons of Fath Ali Shah - the mayor of Malayer - and includes a main bazaar, two sub-bazaars, a number of houses and a residential house around. The main bazaar was built during the reign of Sheikh al-Muluk and has been expanded by people such as Mehr Ali Khan Qajar, Abul Qasem Khan Nouri and Mirfatah. The longevity of this work is related to the time of Sheikh Ali Mirza Sheikh Al-Muluk, the ruler of Malayer and the ninth son of Fath Ali Shah. The four parts of this market lead to the four neighborhoods of the city. The entrance of the bazaar is located on Boroujerdi Street. The architectural style of this bazaar is original and traditional and has been strongly influenced by the patterns of the Safavid and Zandiyeh bazaars such as Vakil Bazaar. The roof covering of all parts of the market has brick arches and domes, and skylights are installed throughout it and on both sides of the rooms. #UnseenCorners #Malayer #Bazaar #Hamedan #Iran #MiddleEast #ملایر Instagram -   / unseen.corners   Do not copy, reproduce, or distribute any of the content.
