Adding to that, I caught a severe cold and had to take medication, which made me drowsy. With safety in mind, I made a last-minute decision to book a flight instead of making the long drive to Anchorage. But I have no regrets—this turned out to be one of the best flight experiences ever! Flying over Alaska’s breathtaking, snow-capped mountains was an unforgettable sight. The vast icy landscapes, frozen rivers, and rugged peaks stretched endlessly below, making this journey feel magical. I’ll be sharing my experience of flying within Alaska, stunning aerial views, travel tips, and how to book last-minute flights in case of emergencies. Upon landing in Anchorage, I picked up a new one at Anchorage Airport, making the transition smooth for the next leg of the adventure.
