Coconut Palace, Pasay City August 8, 2025 The Philippines, a founding Member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), joins its fellow Member Countries in celebrating ASEAN Day 2025 in a program at the Coconut Palace in Pasay City on August 8, 2025. The 58th ASEAN Day bears the theme, ‘Towards Inclusive & Sustainable ASEAN Future’, reaffirming the regional bloc’s commitment to a Region that uplifts every community and safeguards the planet. Celebrated annually on August 8, ASEAN Day commemorates the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 1967 with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration, also known as the Bangkok Declaration. ASEAN has played a vital role in promoting economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the Region. The event highlights the Organization’s achievements and ongoing efforts to promote unity and collaboration among its Member Countries.
