IG: @Fulks - Twitter: @Fulks6 - Snapchat @Gr3g For Business Email: [email protected] Website: www.gregfulks.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special thanks to Mike Wang (@supcoachmike), Stephanie Martin (@stephthemartian), and Mark Pilzner for making this trip possible We started off in Alameda, California Met up for coffee with a few local friends and then loaded up the boards and headed off to Sacramento with small a pit stop for lunch in the college town of Davis We unloaded the boards just north of Old Town Sacramento and spent the next couple hours Paddling up and down the Sacramento River. From there we hit the road again and travel North to Tahoe. We stayed the night in Incline Village and woke up early to plan the day. We decided on a few places we wanted to paddle and quickly put it into action. We launched on the water at Sand Harbor and the weather was perfect. Sand Harbor is on the eastern shores of lake tahoe The crystal-clear water and magnificent rock formations allow for a peaceful paddle with great views. Lake tahoe has a surface elevation of 6,225 feet… Which makes it a perfect location for high altitude training. And although the water is beautiful it has an average surface temperature of a chilling 53 degrees and even reaches 41 degrees at the surface in the winter… After a day full of SUP on Water and even on land with "Stick It!" The crew returned back to Sand Harbor just before sunset to combined paddle boarding with a full body beach work out. The next day we went back on the water and the conditions where completely flipped… Sunny skies replaced with dark clouds chilly winds. Just as the crew decided to head out the winds picked up and made it too dangerous to drive with all the boards on top of the car. We came back to alameda to continue where we left off a few days earlier and this time with an even bigger a crew!
