New Chance Rides Zipper Ride!! okay, to all who love the Zipper ride and have seen them drastically slow down, not to mention creaking and groaning wondering when your car is going to fly off into space......or just fall off onto the ground and this is how you are going to leave this world, as many have fallen into dis repair, I was NOT expecting this. In the early 70's, the Zipper was born, the original Chance Rides Zipper was much faster (the boom turned at a higher rpm as well as the car slider) which caused some injuries, this lead to the ride being regulated to what we have all know and loved for decades. I was born in the 70's, so I never got to experience one of the "originals"......but this really surprised me, has to be close. Each car has a clear front, so no cage to look thru, each car is outfitted with two "roller coaster" type harnesses. Zipper (New Chance Rides Zipper Ride), hands down the best I have ever experienced! I thought they were dying out....maybe it's a new beginning!
