My name is Jack Woltering, the founder and creator of the Mason Pot. Before we delve into the details, let me tell you a little bit about myself. About Me For the past 10 years, I have been immersed in the recreational cannabis market, from Jersey to Kansas to LA. After years of experimenting with different machines and processes, I realized that the OG method of using a Mason jar was the best. But I wanted to take it a step further. I wanted to create an infuser that was easy to use, produced potent and perfect batches every time, and eliminated the need for guesswork. The Birth of the Mason Pot Every component of the Mason Pot was born slowly over time. Through countless hours of research and development, we have refined and perfected each piece. Some components have changed along the way, and we continue to explore new ideas for future versions. We have put in so much time and effort into this project that the mailman even had a key to my place to deliver the latest pieces. We are constantly striving to make the Mason Pot the best it can be. A Family Affair I had the pleasure of working on the design and production of the Mason Pot with my brother, Reed. We used to have a business together when we were kids in high school, called JRW Motorized, where we built motorized bicycles. It felt amazing to collaborate with him again on this project. As a family-owned business, we value the importance of family and wanted to include everyone's talents. With seven brothers and sisters, we each bring something unique to the table. It's a dream come true to see all of our skills and ideas come together in the Mason Pot. The Mason Pot Kit Now, let's talk about the Mason Pot itself and why it's a game changer. This project has been a labor of love for me, and I have poured everything I have into it. I even sold my car six months ago to make this happen because I believe in it that much! The Mason Pot is designed to provide you with the best product and a guaranteed batch every time. All you have to do is follow the instructions, and you'll be good to go, guaranteed. Inside the Mason Pot kit, you'll find everything you need to get started. We wanted to take a sustainable approach, so we designed the kit to be reusable. When you open the kit, you'll find a tin lunchbox that contains the following items: Mason Pot Jar with Silicone Sleeve: The Mason Pot jar comes with a silicone sleeve that helps prevent charring or burning, whether you're using the oven, stovetop, or crockpot method. It also has a pothole in the back, allowing you to see the contents inside. This is especially useful for flour or concentrates. Lid with Silicone Hole and Thermometer: The lid of the Mason Pot jar has a silicone hole where the thermometer inserts perfectly. This ensures that you get the exact temperature when decarboxylating and infusing your cannabis. Puck and Press: The Mason Puck is personally fabricated by my brother and me to fit the jar perfectly after the infusion is done. Once you've infused your herb of choice, you can drop the puck into the jar and use the press to press it down. This helps extract every last drop of goodness from your infusion. Fine Strainer: We've included a fine strainer with ultra-fine holes in the kit. This eliminates the need for cheesecloth or other straining methods. Simply pour your infusion through the strainer to remove any leftover plant material and get a smooth, clean result every time. Microfiber Cloth: Lastly, we've included a microfiber cloth in the kit, which has proven to be incredibly useful.
