John Gilbert of Classic Trucks Magazine and CPP's Danny Nix dive into the New CPP Pro-Series Performance Big Brakes and Hydrastop Hydraulic Assist System going on the United Pacific Week to Wicked 1971 Chevy C10 build. The massive front 14" rotors/6-Piston caliper kit is installed using CPP New eXtreme X10 Modular 2.5" Drop Spindles that use a sealed hub assembly for better performance and a cleaner bolt-in installation. The SS-Series Rear 13" rotor/4 piston caliper kit balances the braking out back and also incorporates a built-in parking brake. In the engine compartment, the Street Beast Hydrastop System uses power steering pressure instead of engine vacuum to provide up to 1800 PSI to the Big Calipers, making sure this truck stops in its tracks every time.
