This stuff is great but it has a tendency to disappoint people. I found they are typically not using it correctly (as I, too, experienced it's failure trying to seal something that didn't fit the mold). I made the video to save yourself the time, money, and energy that I wish I could get back! I hope it helps you determine if this is a good product for your project or not. 1. Cut with a Razor or very sharp scissors 2. Apply to clean, debris-free areas only 3. A smooth, flush surface is best. Anything too ribbed, braided, or not flat could pose a problem. 4. Compress the tape as firmly as possible. 5. Let cure for 48 hours 6. Know that it will likely ruin the surface of whatever it is taped to after prolonged period.
