However, you may have occasional trouble and find that it won't move properly in your pool Here is a walk thru of the most common problems. If after doing all these it still doesn't move watch part 2 as I cover the other possible problems that keep the cleaner from working. *I didn't mention this in the video, but a worn out foot pad will also stop the cleaner. I covered this is the "Changing the Foopad " Video. When checking for something stuck in the cleaner, sometimes a piece of wood will get lodged in right next to the hammer (moving part in the bottom). I have been fooled a few times myself and have to really look in there to find the obstruction. The kreepy will suck up just about everything (I have found a 1" by 1" tile wedged in one that fell off the pool wall. Also, check the hoses for any debris, sometimes something big wil get past the opening of the cleaner but get stuck in a hose. If the filter is not clean, the cleaner will not move properly. So it is important to clean your filter when the pressure gets high. Also, if the pump basket is full of debris the Kreepy will not work since it needs a good amount of suction to get moving, Watch part two if the Kreepy is still not moving.
