Karen Read Expert Says Victim’s Arm Wounds ‘Very Much’ Consistent w/ Animal Attack

Elizabeth Laposata is a forensic pathologist who was hired by Karen Read's lawyers to study John O'Keefe's injuries and analyze how he died. She told Read's lawyer Alan Jackson in direct-examination O’Keefe sustained his fatal head injuries by falling backward onto “something that had a little ridge.” She testified that the surface was “something with granularity hit." In this clip, Jackson questions Laposata about the injuries on O'Keefe's right arm and the possibility that an animal bite caused them. Laposata testified O’Keefe’s arm wounds are “very much” consistent with an animal bite and don’t appear to be from a motor vehicle collision.
