Dr. Sayeed, India’s former ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Yemen, reflects on the prospects of regime change in Iran, the evolving strategic dynamics in West Asia, and the implications of the conflict for India’s diplomacy, diaspora, and energy security. “Given India India’s huge stakes, India should play a proactive role in the region — talking to Israel, talking to Iran, and engaging other stakeholders — because India is acceptable to all these countries,” said Amb.
