Pride of Britain Hero: Hari Budha Magar’s Inspiring Journey to Conquer Everest | This Morning

Tonight, the nation will get a glimpse into the lives of some of our unsung heroes as they take to the stage at this year’s Pride Of Britain Awards. One of these inspirational people is former Gurkha soldier Hari Budha Magar, who lost both legs in 2010, after an IED exploded whilst he was on patrol in Afghanistan. His incredible journey has seen him push himself to the limits to become the first above-the-knee double amputee to summit Mount Everest, and he was even honoured with an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours list.
