Lagdera MP Abdikadir Hussein disputes nullification of his election, says appeal is in motion

ODM's Lagdera MP Abdikadir Hussein can now breathe a sigh of relief after the courts issued a stay order on his case even after nullifying his election as MP. The MP will continue being MP even as processes to reconstitute the IEBC continue. According to lady justice Tripsisa Wamae, sitting in Meru, in a judgement delivered online, Hussein will continue being MP as there is no IEBC to carry out elections. The MP has however disputed the judgement, arguing, the judge did not put into consideration his defence when delivering the judgement.
