Merry Christmas everyone!! ☃️ Timestamps: 0:00 - Oh, Come All Ye Faithful 1:40 - Silent Night 3:05 - Joy To The World 5:18 - It Came Upon A Midnight Clear 7:05 - Hark! The Herald Angels Sing 8:33 - Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer (1990s) Just in time for the big day I bring you "The Presence Of Christmas" by Harry Nilsson. Featuring 5 songs, these are a rare example of Nilsson putting his own spin on Christmas music. (I have also included his version of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer because it's Christmas-themed. It was recorded during the Losst and Fouund sessions in the 90s.) Although his voice is pretty beaten up, (similarly to A Touch Of Schmilsson in the Night,) we still get to hear his spin on some classic Christmas songs. As for the Presence of Christmas itself, here is some information on it's history, and PLEASE NOTE, while I did research this, there is not a lot to find on the topic, and some of this could not be credible information and I will note what information I am unsure on, having said that this is what I've gathered. The Presence of Christmas was originally sold on LP by mail order. (Not sure if that is correct as I have not seen any proof of it, however still wanted to include it.) The album of Christmas stories, produced by Harry Nilsson's cousin, included instrumental recordings of traditional Christmas songs. Later in 1988, Harry Nilsson recorded vocals over the existing orchestral recordings and the album was reissued as an "audiobook" and on CD. This is unfortunately extremely hard to find nowadays, and it's even a miracle that I was able to find the music itself. Unfortunately after a few hours of scouring Google I was unable to find the audiobook, and only found the songs that Nilsson recorded for it. If I do find it in the future, then I will be sure to post it and send a link in the comments. Thank you very much everyone.
