Because why not? The Japanese version is in some ways different from the US version, such as sound effects and Mario's head size.. plus, I want to use a GameCube controller, lol. This Playthrough will show the game 100% with everything unlocked in the game and 1-Player Mode completed with all characters. I will not show how to get the Item Switch, however, as that takes too many fights to unlock. In this part, we complete some "Break the Targets!" stages and complete 1-Player Mode as Mario, Donkey Kong , and Link (set to Very Easy to get Captain Falcon easily). These are the things unlocked in this part: Luigi: Complete the "Break the Targets!" stages with the default eight characters to initiate a battle with Luigi. Beat him to get him as a playable character. Ness: Complete 1-Player Mode on a difficulty of Normal or higher with a stock of three and no continues to initiate a fight with Ness. If you win, you unlock him as a playable character. Donkey Kong doesn't mess around. Captain Falcon: Complete 1-Player mode in under 20 minutes (any difficulty is fine) to initiate a fight with Captain Falcon. Defeat him to unlock him. On a side-note, I find a lot of my KO's in this game to be quite funny. I hope you enjoy, despite my mediocre playing skills.
