🎣 Coloring a Nordic Fish Stall | Chillhop Lofi & light ASMR 🎨🐟

This page was such a fun one to work on! It’s a little fish stall scene from Cocowyo’s Little Corners coloring book, and I imagined it tucked away in a small Scandinavian town—maybe on a chilly morning with boats in the harbor and the smell of salt and fresh fish in the air. That thought is what shaped my color palette. I pulled inspiration from traditional Scandinavian folk art and vintage Nordic fish market posters, so the page is full of bold reds, rich blues, golden yellows, and forest greens, all balanced with those soft, cool tones that remind me of the sea and sky in that part of the world. The cat running the stall had to match the vibe, of course. So, I gave him the look of a burly (sexy?? lol) Scandinavian fisherman—complete with a thick mustache, cozy beanie, and a lumberjack kind of charm. I used alcohol markers for the whole piece, with some gel pen accents to bring out those little details and give the fish that slightly shiny, fresh-off-the-boat look. I also used my colorless blending marker for the first time. I used it to make some fabric texture and to mottle some leaves. As always, there’s some calming lofi / chillhop music in the background, paired with soft ASMR sounds—marker caps clicking shut and the gentle brushing of the markers across the page. It’s perfect if you need a moment to unwind, zone out, or just enjoy something creative and soothing.
