Installing Beyerdynamic DT770 velour ear pads on AKG K240 headphones

Replacing original AKG pleather ear pads with genuine Beyerdynamic DT770 velour ear pads (EDT 770V) so my ears don't sweat so much. The OEM faux-leather ear pads tended to sit on my ears instead of around them like the velour DT770 pads. So far I really enjoy the comfort and sound of the K240's with the new velour pads. Just a quick edit in Openshot to mute a few curse words and decrease the hair dryer volume so some unintentional Darth Vader breathing and odd vocal noises remain. Shortly after this video I noticed that the vinyl "lip" that holds one of the pads was considerably less prominent on one edge. It looked rather tenuous so I reheated that area with the hair dryer and pulled it until the "lip" was evenly distributed the entire circumference of the cup. I had to pinch the heated vinyl until it cooled off and held its form over the edge.
