The race is on! Who will finish first? That is up to you! The Air Zoo's Restoration Team, now in the final phases of completing the SBD-2P and F-117 Nighthawk, is relying on YOU to get them across the finish line. Terri, team lead for Team SBD, introduces us to the restoration volunteers who dedicate their time to restoring these historic aircraft. It will take around $50,000 to complete the restoration of each of these aircraft! The SBD has plans to return to Pearl Harbor in time for their National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day activities. A little closer to home, the F-117 Nighthawk will be moved to a more permanent location on the exhibit floor at the Air Zoo's Flight Innovation Center, upon completion - hopefully also late fall.
