I am currently trialling the amazing Walcker organ of St. Antonius, Papenburg (Germany) from Pipeloops. The instrument has a fascinating history and in 2020 became one of the most significant new installations in northern Germany in recent years: featuring 99 stops, the instrument is eclectic with massive scale. http://www.pipeloops.com/product_info... ‪@grahamtwist‬ composed 'Caprice' for Titus and Kim of ‪@peporgan‬ and received 2nd place in the inaugural Pep Organ composition competition. Graham kindly sent me a copy of the score and it was a perfect piece to explore the wonderful flute sonorities available on this fascinating instrument in its amazing accoustic.
