This is a mockup showcasing the new things I learned creating my last video, comparing spiccato ensemble patches. I'm using a combination of Performance Samples ensemble patches from VISTA II and Fluid shorts. I think the samples, especially from VISTA II have an absolutely mind blowing realism, and is taking virtual orchestral strings to a level where it's never been before. A mockup with this kind of realism would not be possible a couple of years ago. As for now, Performance samples does not yet have a solo violin that is as agile and constant to make it in this mockup. Good old CSSS does the job really well in the solo parts. Though, I'm sure Performance Samples soon will make a solo violin that will blow my mind also.
