'From the archives' - Episode 13: Trains at Cholsey & Goring & Streatley 2011

This video shows a mixture of passenger and freight trains at both Goring & Streatley and Cholsey stations on 28th October 2011. In the video, we see a selection of CrossCountry Voyagers, FGW Class 165s, 166s and HSTs and several DB Cargo and Freightliner movements. This was filmed before the electrification of the Great Western Mainline (GWML), when HSTs were still a common sight thundering along at 125mph. Enjoy! About 'From the archives': This series will place a spotlight on the UK rail network between 2007 and 2012, showing trains, operators and scenes that, in many cases, have been lost to time over the past 18 years. All videos in this series was filmed with my old Panasonic DVD camcorder, so the quality will be lower than my more modern videos, but the footage still remains too good not to share! My aim is to release a weekly video from this series, so please stay tuned for dozens more videos in the future.
