A solo hike across 3 Mourne Mountain peaks in one day. Slieve Bearnagh, Slieve Meelmore and Slieve Meelbeg by way of Hare's Gap. A popular route in the Mourne Mountains for hikers. The 3 peaks can be achieved by those with a good level of fitness. It can be steep in places, boggy in others but with the right gear and good planning the challenge is yours. As someone who has recently rediscovered a love for hiking after a family camping trip on which we took my 4 year old son on his first hike, I have been in the Mournes consistently. I've been gradually increasing the length of my hikes and pushing myself that bit further. The journey so far has been great for my fitness, my mental health and overall wellness. If getting outdoors and exploring nature on your own terms interests you then this channel may be for you.
