In this video you will see our road journey from Leh Ladakh to Nubra valley.Nubra valley starts from Diskit on one side of Shyok river and Sumur on the other side. Actually Nubra valley starts from T morth itself, but since there is no town there, so i mentioned Diskit and Sumur on either side of T moth. Initially we went to Hunder, explored this side of Nubra valley then we went to Sumur and Siachen base camp which you will see in the next episode. Date of video shoot: 17th July 2023. Below are the activities / key destinations we visited during the journey. Gangles Village is situated on the way up to Khadungla from Leh. About 2 km from Gangles Village there is a small stream that passes through the area known as Gangle stream which meets Indus River near Spituk. Khardung La is at a height of 17,982 ft which was once known as the highest motorable roads of Leh, Ladakh but nowadays Umling La is known for the highest motorable roads of Leh, Ladakh which is about at Height of 19,024 ft. Khardung La is about 40 km away from Leh and Umling La is about 350 km from Leh. North Pullu is at a height of 16000 ft and Khardung La is about 15 km away from North Pullu. Tourists need to make an entry at the Police check post of North Pullu after Khardung La Pass who are willing to go to Nubra Valley. In other words North Pullu connects Leh with the Nubra Valley like Khalsar Village, Diskit, Hunder & more. Khardong Village is about 20 km away from North Pullu and Khalsar Village is about 25 km away from Khardong Village. Here we took a break and had lunch. T-Morh divides Nubra valley in two different sides. One side covers the Sumar, Panamik and Siachen Camp Base region and another covers the Hunder, Turtuk and Thang Village which is the last village of India. We ended our journey at Hunder. Hunder is located in the Nubra valley on the banks of Shyok river. The Shyok river originates from the Rimo glacier & meets the Nubra River. Here we booked our room in Goba House Inn.
