The top professionals work very hard on focus, pre-shot routine and mind control to overcome stress in pressurised situations. One of the best players to play well under tremendous pressure was Tiger Woods. He controlled his mind as much as he controlled his swing. In this video I talk about a simple technique that helped me overcome stress & anxiety in my first PGA competition. In fact it worked so well I managed to win the tournament! I used a mind control technique in a book I read called "The Inner Game of Golf" by Timothy Galloway. Its called the "Back Hit" technique and involves quietening the conscious side of the brain (Self1) and letting the unconscious side (Self2) shine through!
