ILAM Vlog Part -2 (Shree Antu and Antu Pokhari)

Hello Everyone, Last time I have covered only Kanyam and Pathivara Temple in Part-1 of ILAM Vlog. So, here is Part-2 that covers the Shree Antu and Antu Pokhari Vlog. Shree Antu lies in Illam District in Province No.1 of eastern Nepal. It is a tourist destination famous for the view of sunrise. It is believed that in Nepal firstly sunrise begins from here. Shree Antu is a small pleasing village, with the largest tea estate, beautiful gardens, and an alluring mountain view of the world’s third-highest mountain i.e. Kanchanjunga (8586m). People belonging to different ethnic groups such as Limbu, Tamang, Rai, Lepcha, and Magar live in this area. It consists of Nepal’s only Lepcha village and is famous for Agro-tourism. It is also known for paying guests and homestay. At the homestay, local people provide local food items along with Antu tea. Similarly there you can have a wonderful sleep experience in the traditional houses made of wood as well as you can be more familiar with eastern region cultures and traditions which is Shree Antu Eco-cultural tourism destination famous for. Every homestay has its a separate beautiful garden with different flowers along with Antu special orchid. Antu Danda, Antu Pond, Gufapatal, Mechi River, Nageshwori, Lepcha community and Lepcha museum, Tea and Tea factories, Flowers, are the other major attraction of Shree Antu. Antu Pokhari is beautifully managed and lots of people are visiting over there. The greenery scenario makes it more beautiful and peaceful. One can ride the horse around the pond and make beautiful memory with awesome pictures. I and my friends enjoyed it a lot.
