As an Ex-PADI Instructor, I wanted to make a video response to Simply Scuba's film 'Why Some Scuba Divers Don't Like PADI.' It wasn't easy.... Undoubtedly, PADI are the biggest brand in scuba diving. But bigger doesn't always mean better. So why is PADI the market leader in Scuba Diver training? What makes PADI so successful? A couple of weeks back, Mark from Simply Scuba, who is a PADI Instructor, released a video called 'Why Some Scuba Divers Don't Like PADI.' I thought it would be fun, as a reformed PADI Instructor, to try to make the inverse of that video: 'Why Some Scuba Divers ❤️PADI.' No, really! I know I have something of a PADI bashing reputation. I mean, I did make a video called 'The PADI 5-Star Scam' but I taught PADI courses for years. So why did I choose to become an Instructor for PADI, do my PADI IDC for PADI and teach PADI courses?
