Instruments used: Violin, Viola Images used from: ChatGPT Before I discuss my personal experience with this piece, yes, that is a picture of the Space Marines from Warhammer 40K, and even though I asked for a Vanguard Front-Line, I thought it was going to be soldiers out on a battlefield, but nope, instead Chat said “Bring forth the Space Marines!”. I got to admit, even AI has got to have its jokes. But anyways… Vanguard is such an amazing piece. Like I mentioned above, it is meant to sound like a marching front-line army headed into war. Then, the happily and calmly sections, in my opinion, are meant to be people celebrating the troops who fight for the country. I remember playing this for MPA during my Sophomore year of high school, and along with some of the Capriol Suite Movements, those 2 out of 3 pieces were some of the most memorable pieces I will remember performing with friends. I hope I will get to do the 3rd MPA piece that I really enjoyed, but for right now, that will be for next time! Anyways, thank you so much for listening! Have a wonderful day! And I will see y’all next week! Travel safe everybody!!
