BARRIER BUSTERS 2024 – BARRIER-FREE CITY EXPLORER “Barrier Busters” is an annual signature event of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) that aims to promote community education on barrier-free and inclusion while raising funds to support our various rehabilitation services taking care of persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses and the elderly. The event this year will be comprised of 2 parts — city-orienteering experiential teams and a full-day carnival with game booths, exhibitions and charity sales, intended to deliver the concept and importance of “Universal Designs” which are beneficial to the person with and without disabilities, with an ultimate goal of moving towards a caring, barrier-free and inclusive community. Let’s join together on the event day to break physical, psychological and social barriers and co-create an inclusive with care, support and understanding society. 「無障行者」是香港復康會年度重點社區教育及籌款活動，透過活動，讓大眾親身體驗殘疾人士及長期病患者的生活挑戰。我們希望透過此別具意義的活動，建立一個關愛和共融的社會。 今年活動分為兩部分 – 無障城市追擊「搜」城市定向體驗賽和嘉年華，嘉年華設有遊戲攤位、展覽及慈善義賣，旨在介紹活動主題「通用設計」的概念和重要性，這些設計不僅有利於行動自如的人，也惠及殘疾人士。 活動籌得善款將用作支持香港復康會的服務，讓更多殘疾人士及長期病患者得到優質的復康服務，重回社區，活得有尊嚴，重獲豐盛人生！請與我們在活動當天齊心協力，打破身體、心理和社交障礙，共同創造一個包容、關懷、支持和理解的社會。
