In this powerful Sunday sermon, Pastor David Modutoane preaches on The Privilege of Salvation. Drawing from Isaiah 57:20 and Mark 4:37, Pastor David reminds us that the wicked are like a troubled sea that cannot rest. Pastor David also refers to Hosea 9:7 to explain why people mock the gospel, Christians, and pastors. We live in a world where taking God seriously can make people mock you. They may call you Moruti or Mamuruti. They may laugh at you. They may say you are too serious about church. But salvation is not foolishness — it is a privilege. Pastor David reminds us that even if the wicked’s lives appear shiny and successful on the outside, in reality, there is no peace for those who reject God or are not saved. The question is: where do we find this peace? Pastor David teaches that this peace is not found in parties, possessions, or popularity. It is not found in cars, houses, or social media. There is no shop that sells peace. Christ is our peace. Through salvation, we are brought near to God (Ephesians 2:13–14). When you are in Christ, you have peace with God. You are secure. You are covered. Pastor David also warns that the world tries to recruit believers — just as Galatians 4:17 says — but not for a good purpose. Many things attempt to pull Christians away from their faith: friends, social circles, entertainment, and worldly influences. The story of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16) reminds us that what looks peaceful in this world is not always true peace in eternity. To be saved is not weakness. To be born again is not foolishness. It is a privilege — and it is something to be thankful for. 📖 Scripture References: Isaiah 57:20–21 | Psalm 14:1 | Hosea 9:7 | Galatians 4:17 | Luke 16:22–24 | Titus 2:11 | Ephesians 2:13–14 | Romans 10:9 | 2 Corinthians 2:11 🙏 Need Prayer or Want to Know Jesus?
