You can view it here:    • HYPERDRAMA Animation - Behind The Scenes~   I've been working on this steadily since Justice released HYPERDRAMA last April. When I saw the artwork that Thomas Jumin created for the sleeve I was immediately excited. It’s not obvious what it is you’re looking at, so it makes me want to look at it even more. I knew I would have a hard time resisting animating it. Then when I listened to One Night All Night, I couldn’t help but see that work fit within it, the energy just matched the artwork so well for me. The rest of the sequence was very much influenced by the other photos and illustrations made promoting the album, including thing like the Rockyrama issue. Admittedly, when the gorgeous Neverender video was released, I felt a little nervous about continuing with this. But I quickly realised that I should finish what I started! And there’s something I should explain if it isn’t obvious already- I adore many different french house/disco/electro/etc musicians, I’m totally drawn to that musical world more than any other, and I’d love to animate for different musicians some day. I don’t believe Justice themselves will be doing more hand-drawn animated videos (they’ve stated so in an interview) so it’s not them that I’m really after, as much as the scene generally. But, their music is something I love very much, so it’s easy to throw myself into producing work like this to demonstrate what I can do, hopefully to other musicians :) maybe Ed Banger but also artists beyond the label!
