Hello everyone, today I will explain and teach you how to Crease paper as part of my Bookbinding Basics video series. Folding and creasing paper are very similar things, a fold is made without the assistance of tools, and a crease is made with tools, usually a bonefolder, and will appear sharper than a fold. When the paper is thick it's much more difficult to fold and usually leaves marks, that is why we need to crease the paper. Creasing is also needed when you want to fold against the grain of the paper.
