Star Wars is probably the most famous IP in the world. Strangely enough, I've always enjoyed it, but it has never been something I’ve obsessed over; I’m a much bigger fan of Battlestar Galactica, for instance. Either way, this table is great fun to play because of the familiarity and the nostalgia factor. The music is just stunning and is such a huge part of what made Star Wars so iconic... and of course, James Earl Jones as Darth Vader is more entrenched in popular culture than just about anything else. I enjoyed this table, except for that bloody Death Star shot! I ended up playing much longer than I thought I would because I kept needing just a hit or two on the Death Star and just couldn't get it. In this game (and for quite a few tries before it), I decided to get the Death Star out of the way first before focusing on anything else. I did just that, and actually surprisingly quickly after all my struggles. I felt so nervous afterward, though, because I didn't want to have to do it again, and I struggled for quite a bit to get into my groove. Luckily, there is a reliable and easy-to-get-to multiball, with ball locks doubling as an outlane save, that allowed me to get through the nerves and finally complete all the ranks. A wizard/reward mode felt a bit missed, but I don't know Star Wars well enough to know what would have worked. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode.
