From the outdoor roller rink to FUNomenal activities, celebrate Spring break at Discovery Green

The weather today is perfect to head out to Discovery Green as they kick off a full week of ‘fun-omenal’ spring break activities for kids of all ages, March 10-14 from 12-4 p.m. The week-long event is packed with activities that blend fun, education, and hands-on experiences for kids of all ages, including interactive S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities – robotics, science experiments, coding, music, and even a Family Feud-style game. All of these activities are completely free. And we can’t forget about one of Houston’s favorite seasonal activities: the outdoor roller skating rink! The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green, Houston’s only outdoor roller rink, is open for extended hours for the duration of Spring Break. This week the rink will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online at www.discoverygreen.com/rollerrink. The rink is open through April 13th.
