Bicycle Shorts Film Festival 2024 Sun, May 5, 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm with intermission, Pay What You Can (min. $5) Tickets: https://yellowbicycle.com/product/bsf... Ring in National Bike Month with the second annual Bicycle Shorts Film Festival at Yellow Bicycle Theater. This year’s lineup features two rides and thirteen bike-themed films from across the globe, ranging from riveting travelogues, trippy animation, and inspiring documentaries to immersive visual poems, edgy family drama and a laugh-out-loud short about bike shorts. The fun starts at noon at the Fountain of Seahorses, where Yellow Bicycle will join the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia on a ride for all ages. Around 1:45, YBC will lead a short ride from the fountain to the theater, where film screenings and talkbacks will take place from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, with intermission. Then to top it off, we’ll be cycling 7 scenic miles past the Rocky Steps and up the Schuylkill River Trail to Taqueria Amor in Manayunk to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This is her story through five continents, 28 countries and 29,000 kilometers. The Happy Cyclist Documentary, UK, 11 min.
