Northbound SNCRR train arriving in North Creek 8/1/12

8/1/12 Northbound Saratoga and North Creek Railroad train seen arriving in North Creek, with a pretty cool consist, including a pair of former LIRR C1 coaches. The C1s were included on this train just on a test run. According to a few sources, the original AC units were awful, and the SNCRR is putting in a lot of work to get the AC units working properly. On the outside, the cars look a little worn, but they still look pretty damn good inside, considering the LIRR only used them as prototypes for their current C3 bilevel fleet. After the trial runs, the LIRR removed them from service. Hopefully the SNCRR can use these cars, as they do offer a very smooth and quiet ride.
