As the Bihar Assembly elections draw closer, senior Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is expected to arrive in Patna. Gehlot will likely meet Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition and RJD leader, who is contesting from Raghopur constituency. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has named Ashok Gehlot as the Senior Election Observer for Bihar, while former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also been appointed as an observer. The elections will be conducted in two phases — November 6 and 11.
