The presented use cases demonstrate the extensive possibilities of the Smart Function Kit. Force control: Target force or holding duration is specified. A sensor measures the actual force, and the system attempts to achieve the target force and to keep it constant for a defined time. Process evaluation and quality assurance: A sequence program can be created for each pressing/joining or test process. Quality criteria that must be met in the process can be defined.
