Are you more of a Sainsbury’s or Tesco kind of household? Well, whatever suits your fancy, we are here to walk you through what it’s like to be an American walking through a UK grocer! There is a massive Sainsbury’s close to our house (as shown in this video) and the other stores are not nearly as impressive, so we do about 98% of our weekly shopping at Sainsbury’s. We have come to really love the store and are quite impressed with their home delivery service! In this vlog, we review the similarities and differences between US and UK grocery stores. Everything from the layout of the stores to where we keep our eggs. There are so many small details that add up to make the two experiences feel wildly different despite the fact they are essentially the same thing! We have been Americans living in England for just about 3 years now. We have eaten British snacks, explored beautiful locations throughout the UK, and lived and worked alongside our British friends.
