Not only did it pulse, but it also got quieter as the test continued. Milwaukee also recently "upgraded" their system to an encrypted system (where tones shouldn't be heard over the type of scanners we have), and also upgraded the tones, but it didn't seem to do much. Also we believe the batteries are dying or the tone generator has something wrong with it. Enjoy!
