Chisel and hand plane sharpening jig.

I've had very good luck with this, and since it clamps top to bottom, it doesn't matter what type of chisel I have e.g. bevel edge or straight. As far as the jig blade stops for setting the depth for repeat angles, once the blade is in the jig and at the desired angle for sharpening, push it against your jig, then put the stop in place and secure it or at least draw a line against the front edge until you can secure it permanently. Mark in degrees what angle it is and which blade it's set for. Make sure the blade is exactly 90° to the front edge of the jig.
