We had planned on travelling to Birdsville to meet up with a friend who was walking across the Simpson Desert to celebrate her eightieth birthday. Unfortunately illness among the support crew and an injury to her walking companion caused them to abandon the walk part way through. We decided that rather than going to Birdsville on our own that we would travel along the Oodnadatta Track to William Creek and return home via Coober Pedy and Woomera. this is part two of our trip/
