Stereo version: On album "A Lot Of Dominos!", Imperial LP-12066. LP-9127 is the mono album. Released: 1960. Cosimo Recording Studio, 521-525 Gov. Nicholls St., New Orleans, LA. Antoine Domino(v,p), prob. Lee Allen(ts), Roy Montrell(g), Jimmie Davis(b), Cornelius "Tenoo" Coleman(d), The New Orleans Symphony Orchestra(strings). Producer/Arranger: Dave Bartholomew Engineer: Cosimo Matassa "You Always Hurt The One You Love" was released after Fats had left Imperial Records(1962). Catching in on the ABC-sound, Imperial thought they would catch-in with this one; they didn't. "Hurt" hit the charts on April 27, 1963 and peaked at POS. 102. For 5 weeks it "Bubbled Under" the national charts. After his first failure, totally missing the charts, with "Stop The Clock", this was his 3rd Imperial failure in a row. Luckily his ABC-recordings were just starting to hit the charts; A month later "There Goes My Heart Again" was his first hit in 10 months! More FATS? www.facebook.com/officialFATSDominoFANSITE/
