New Prince Schools Win Times Education Icons Award 2025–26

New Prince Shri Bhavani Senior Secondary School, Adambakkam and New Prince Matriculation School, Ullagaram were selected and honoured with the prestigious Times Education Icons Awards 2025–26 in January by The Times of India. In this special interview, Mrs. V.S. Mahalakshmi, School Secretary, shares the inspiring journey of the New Prince educational institutions. She speaks about how the schools were started in 1984 with just 8 students by Founder and Chairman Mr. K. Loganathan, and how they have grown steadily into a respected group of institutions today. She also explains the vision behind the schools — providing quality education without capitation fees and ensuring equality for students from all backgrounds. Today, the group runs two Matriculation and two CBSE schools along with higher education institutions like New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology and New Prince Shri Bhavani Arts and Science College.
