In this video we take a look at the layout of the IronCAD 3D Scene interface and the main windows used while working in IronCAD. After starting a new 3D design using the 3D Scene button, IronCAD opens with a default workspace layout. While the layout of windows and their position across multiple monitors can be customized, this standard layout provides a clear and practical starting point. The large area in the center of the screen is the drawing area, where the 3D model is displayed and edited. Around this workspace you will find the main interface components: • Menu bar – Located at the top, providing access to all tools and commands. • Scene Browser – On the left, showing an overview of all parts and assemblies in the model. • Status bar – At the bottom, containing controls for display and camera options. • Catalogs – On the right, offering libraries with ready-to-use 3D parts. To create more space for the catalogs, the Object Viewer and Property List panels can be hidden using the crosses on the panes or the buttons in the Quick Access bar. When working with IronCAD, tools are selected from the menu bar, the Scene Browser is used to keep track of the model structure, and parts can be added from the catalogs using the tabs or the More Catalogs button.
