A detailed guide on beating Sudden Equinox in Digital Directive as the "Trolldier" using the buffed Market Gardener. Works best on Sudden Equinox. You'll have a harder time on Voidling and Ashes to Ashes. Does not work on Mobocracy. Steam Page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... Music Used: • Music Used - Sudden Equinox Trolldier Style Discord: / discord Sudden Equinox Wiki: https://bit.ly/3zoLDui ---------------------------------------------- In Digital Directive with missions including Sudden Equinox, Voidlings and Ashes to Ashes, the Market Gardener received the following changes: +50% Melee Attack Range +100% damage bonus +Attack cleave all enemy in range These buffs overall will make Trolldier easier for skilled and unskilled players, especially when it comes to dealing with groups of Robots and getting Uber Medics. Trolldier suffers from being a melee-oriented class that needs to be close to the Robots, which will most likely result in repeated deaths. To counteract this, we will focus on upgrading survivability first before damage per second. Loadout: 1. Rocket Jumper 2. Mantreads 3. Market Gardener 4. Power-Up Canteens This is our upgrade path for each wave (according to the video): Wave 1: +2 Health on Kill +1 Bullet Resist; +3 Crit Resist Total: $1200 During Wave 1: +3 Fire Resist for Pyro Bots (Exchange from Crit Resist) +3 Blast Resist for the "Tank" (Exchange from Fire Resist, accumulated Credits during wave) Wave 2: +1 Attack Speed; +3 Health on Kill +1 Movement Speed; +1 Blast Resist;+1 Bullet Resist +2 Fire Resist; +3 Crit Resist Total: $1900 During Wave 2: +3 Blast Resist for Explosive Giants Wave 3: +2 Attack Speed; +3 Health on Kill +1 Movement Speed; +3 Blast Resist, +1 Bullet Resist +3 Fire Resist, +3 Crit Resist Total: $3000 (Optional) Switch to The Liberty Launcher for 1 extra Rocket Jump Wave 4: +3 Attack Speed; +4 Health on Kill +1 Movement Speed; +3 Blast Resist, +3 Bullet Resist +3 Fire Resist, +3 Crit Resist Total: $3900 (You can trade Fire Resist for any incomplete upgrades, since there are no Pyros) During Wave 4: +4 Attack Speed; +3 Movement Speed for Sticky Tank +1 Crit Canteen if Sticky Tank has too health near hatch Switch to B.A.S.E Jumper for multiple Crits against the Tank. Wave 5: +4 Attack Speed; +4 Health on Kill +3 Movement Speed; +3 Blast Resist, +3 Bullet Resist +3 Fire Resist, +3 Crit Resist Total: $4500 (You don't need Fire Resist for this wave) Any leftover credits should go for Health Regen or saved for Buybacks/Canteens During Wave 5: +Uber Canteens for Giant Soldiers and/or Demoknight. The following Robots are the biggest threat to Trolldier and requires the full team to take care of: Super Scouts (every single variety) Tank (with legs) Armored Scouts Giant Laser + Uber Medic Sandvich Heavies Sticky Tank Demoknight + Shield Medic Engineer nests aren't a problem if you get the drop on the sentry before killing the Engineer. Otherwise you might need a second teammate to assist you. Lastly, have fun channeling your inner SoundSmith. #tf2 #mvm
