How To Section Hike Appalachian Trail Through New York

After successfully executing our plan to section hike the Appalachian Trail through New Jersey last year, we are looking forward to taking on the challenge to do the same in New York this year. We’ve spent the last several months researching the trail in NY and have put a plan in place to make it happen. We share the plan details here in this video in the hopes we can encourage more folks to get out and explore the trail. From finding shelters, campsites, water, points of interest, parking, and bathroom facilities, we cover it all here. We will post more detailed videos directly from the trail as we complete each hike to see what we got right in our planning and what we got wrong or missed!
