Around 3 AM, a thin young man climbed the outer wall like a character from “Mowgli” and entered a house through the balcony. He didn’t break any locks or force the door open — instead, he silently entered through the balcony and, within just 12 to 15 minutes, walked out the main door with valuables in hand. The CCTV footage clearly captured him climbing the wall and entering the house. A few minutes later, he was seen leaving with a bag through the main gate. The residents of the house only found out about the theft after waking up in the morning. The door was open, and things were scattered around. They immediately informed the police, and an e-FIR was registered at Kalyanpuri police station. The house belongs to a young woman named Pooja, who lives there with her parents. She works as a computer operator at a factory in Shahdara. After dinner, she went to sleep with her parents. In the morning, she noticed that her mobile phone and ₹2,000 in cash were missing. Interestingly, her factory manager had given her a laptop and mobile to complete some weekend work — and that’s exactly what the thief took. The whole theft was carried out in less than 15 minutes. The way the thief operated makes it seem like he’s part of a professional gang. Currently, the police are reviewing the CCTV footage to try and identify him.
