YES!!!! It's LEG DAY!!!! This is going to be a serious blasty blast!!! All you will need for this full leg workout are your dumbbells! At least we will be at home for this workout so we won't have to crawl out of the gym! Leg day is one of my most favorite days! I love using simple moves to really make BIG changes! This ultimate leg day workout is an awesome calorie burner and strength builder. Seriously, friends don't let friends skip leg day. Building and maintaining muscle will not only increase your metabolism but will also keep your bones strong and your body feeling and looking great! Did I mention it's also going to help you on the bike with your climbs and resistance?! BONUS! For this lower body worokout, grab your weights, a mat, water bottle, and towel! We have 5 rounds and each round will have 4 exercises, each exercise we will work for 40 seconds and follow it with 10 seconds of rest, we will go through each round 2 times and after each round, we will have a 1 minute recovery. We will have a variety of squats, lunges, glute bride, and leg and calf lifts. Dumbbells I used: 17.5kg/38.5lbs 10kg/22lbs 7.5kg/16.5lbs Just as a reference, you want to use a weight that is going to challenge you, but allows you to maintain proper form. You will know you picked the right weight if, by the last 7-10 seconds, you find it very challenging and by the end of the 40 seconds, you couldn't do another rep. Ladies, going heavy with your dumbbells will not bulk you up and give you a big, muscular look. It will help to give you a toned and defined look and also boost your metabolism. Men on the other hand will build a bigger look. We have a different chemical makeup and therefore different overall results. REMEMBER!!! This is your workout and your time. Make the most of it! Take extra breaks when needed, maintain proper form, adjust weight as needed, and last but not least KICK BUTT!
