Pro Tips is a series that's designed to help you sell more cars, but just as importantly, deliver a better customer experience in doing so. Let's get to it. Today, manufacturers offer all kinds of incentives, cashback's, special interest rates, and the list goes on. The danger of that is we become desensitized and we don't get, as sales people, excited about these incentives. If you can't get excited about your incentives don't expect your customer to. The reason that you need to be excited about your incentives is to reduce the amount of negotiation that the customer wants to get into, based on the after incentive price of your vehicle. Here's an example, Mr. Lee the vehicle that you've chosen was designed and engineered to sell for $49,995 plus freight fees and applicable taxes. Now, no doubt one of the reasons that you're here today is you've researched, you've waited, and you're taking advantage of our sale event. That being said, we've provided you a cash savings of $2,500. On top of that, this vehicle comes with zero percent financing. Now, the rate of the day is 4.9%. Which means, at zero percent, based on this pricing, you saved an additional $3,218.65. Which means, your total savings package is $5,718.65. Allow me to show you three outstanding payment options. Again, the idea here is to get excited about your incentives itemize them and show the customer how much money they can save, so that they don't feel they need to negotiate the after incentive price of the car.
